Russia's Anti-Gay Bill

Russia passed an Anti-Gay bill in June as well as banning single people from countries where gay marriages are legal from adopting Russian children. Now I would say that most people these days are fine with gay marriages and realize that it is anyone's choice to be gay or not, I admit there are still people in our wold today that think that gay is bad, honestly how self-absorbed and oblivious would you have to be.

This law also made many people going to the Olympics had to think twice, many people going to the Olympics are gay so Russia had to pass another law letting gay Olympians into the Olympics, That would have to be a little embarrassing I think.
It is approximated that around 10% of the worlds population it gay.

  
This chart represents all the countries that allow or recognize gay marriages, I wonder if Russia would see this and realize they are very very wrong about gay people, they are still people they just choose to be with people of the same gender.
I also think that may people from Russia would be okay without the Anti-Gay bill, but all it takes is a few people in government who have a bad opinion who can pass a bill , so really do they still think it's okay? it's not.
